Mohr World Consulting Americas was established in 2015 to serve, initially, the Mexican market. The US to Mexico Corridor is the largest remittance corridor in the world with close to 35 billion dollars a year. Hugo Cuevas-Mohr teamed up with Salvador Velazquez, an experienced money transfer expert, founder of very successful companies in Mexico and the United States.

In 2020, Maribel Sayago came on board to manage the operations of the company in Mexico and take on the clients and projects in Central, South America and the Caribbean. The LATAM operation also manages clients that need expertise in the US to LATAM and Europe to LATAM Corridors. The IMTC MEXICO FORUM in 2021 will be our first event that Mohr World will develop with our partners to look for better ways to serve our customers in the region.
